Sheri Gilmore - Lead Vocals
Performing constantly for over a decade, Sheri has entertained at all of the top venues in New Jersey, including some of the most prestigious hotels, clubs and upscale parties. Sheri's personal singing styles range from contemporary artists such as Pink and Rihanna to the classic ladies of soul, including Etta James and Aretha Franklin. Her lively on stage persona combined with ASAP's dynamic musical stylings make for a spectacular live team of unequalled excitement.
Mark Rudolph - Lead Vocals / Master of Ceremonies
Mark is an accomplished vocalist and multi-talented musician that lights up the stage with an extensive musical range covering genres from standards to pop to R&B, and everything in between. In addition to his vocal ability Mark also plays piano, guitar, harmonica, and trumpet. Mark started performing in clubs at 17 and attributes these early years as to where he honed his talents and performance abilities. He definitely knows how to keep the crowd entertained and the energy flowing.
Joe DeMaio - Guitar & Vocals
As musical director of one of New Jersey's most popular nightclub bands, Joe has performed at essentially every top venue. Although he would deny it, he is certainly a guitar virtuoso and musician of the highest caliber. Joe's extensive musical knowledge, versatiliy and drive for perfection makes ASAP the band that few acts can match. In addition to his live performance career, Joe is a recording engineer and has recorded world renowned artists such as Bon Jovi, Monster Magnet and countless others!
Karlee Bloom - Keyboards & Vocals
Karlee, a graduate of Monclair State University with a degree in Jazz piano performance is the newest addition to ASAP's lineup. In addition to Jazz, Karlee specializes in many different genres such as rock, funk, hip hop, reggae, jazz, and soul. Over the years she has shared the stage with many notable acts such as Lauryn Hill, The Wailers, Bruce Springsteen, Slightly Stoopid, Tedeshchi Trucks Band and many more.
John Murachanian - Drums
John has been playing drums practically all of his life. Starting at the age of 3, he's never put the sticks down. For many years John studied at the Drummer's Collective in NYC and continues to be a teacher / student of his craft. A drumming musician whose diverse musical influences include Led Zeppelin and the vintage jazz of Thelonious Monk. John has developed a simple yet distinctive feel that has become an integral part of the band’s compelling live performance.
Joey Chiarolanza - Bass & Vocals
ASAP's resident music historian, Joey is literally and encyclopedia of musical knowledge. A true music fan in every sense. He can tell you who played on what record and when it was released from any era/genre. A gifted and talented musician/bass player in his own right, Joey has the versatility to play any style. From Disco, R&B and Funk, to Rock, Country and Jazz, Joey lays down the solid foundation to the ASAP sound. Oh, and ask him about The Monkees and he won't stop.
Tommy Meares - Trombone & Vocals
Tommy was a member of Clarence Clemons & the Red Bank Rockers, and has performed with Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, Bruce Springsteen, Max Weinberg, Gary U.S. Bonds, Bonnie Raitt, 10,000 Maniacs, The Temptations, The Coasters, Little Anthony and the Imperials, Bobby Bandiera, Pat Roddy, The Soul Project, Eric Lindell, Bonerama, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band and many local bands. He is currently performing with Jon Bon Jovi and the Kings of Suburbia, as well as The Motor City Revue and Max Weinberg. His musical experience on trombone and vocals ranges in style from rock & roll to Soul, World beat, Reggae, Latin, Jazz, Big Band and New Orleans.
Rick Brunermer - Saxophone, Flute
Rick graduated from the University of Miami, plied the seven seas as an orchestra leader aboard various cruise ships, spent a year on tour with Grammy‐ winning R&B gospel singer Larnelle Harris, and toured with India's premier Grammy-winning film soundtrack composer AR Rahman (Slum Dog Millionaire). Rick has also performed or recorded with Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Mariah Carey, Jon Bon Jovi, Michael McDonald, Dave Mathews, Jewel, Natalie Merchant, Rob Thomas, Tony Bennett, Cindi Lauper, Trisha Yearwood, Gary US Bonds, Max Weinberg, Southside Johnny, The Jimmy Dorsey Band, and the Nelson Riddle Orchestra, among others. His talent can also be heard on various jingles nationwide. He has several published songs to his credit. Rick is a founding member of the very popular Line Drive; a mainstay of the Jersey Shore, as well as a founding member of the huge musical charity, Holiday Express, where he leads and arranges the horn section. In addition, he is a member of the Nelson Riddle Orchestra, and teaches privately.
James Musto - Percussion
Jim was born into a family of professional dancers and professional musicians, on both sides of the family. In his home, Bossa Nova, Waltz, Cha Cha, Jitterbug, Mambo, and other dances were household words that he was familiar with by the age of 10. This is the rhythmic music. It was in this environment that he began performing on the drums for social events around the Jersey Shore at age 15, mainly music for dancing. He was founding member of the Jersey Shore’s Jazz Lobsters big band. Mr. Musto has been a member of the acclaimed Concert Artist program at Kean University since 1999. Through extensive recruiting efforts he has established a standard of excellence as head of the percussion department. He directs the Percussion Ensemble, performs in Jazz and Chamber music concerts and teaches a course in Music and World Culture.
